Francis, meaning “a free one”, sums up his lifelong dedication to freedom for himself and others. Raised in a third-world authoritarian country, empathy, dignity and self-determination became Francis’s core values, leading him to a lifelong passion for volunteerism, advocacy and education. Francis is also a friend of opera, choral works and symphonies. Francis can be easily found on the CUHK campus with AirPods in his ears and his hands in the air, conducting the works of Rossini and Bellini in his imagination.
